weekly tss score

I have two and a half weeks left of "just riding" and not worrying about the numbers. Then it's back to structured workouts for 18 weeks, with two peaks planned. Never thought I'd be taking my annual fun ride so seriously.

Will see how life, work, family, race organising and health intervenes over the next 20 weeks.

Wow. good luck. hope there's some easy weeks in the 18 week period.

this morning, after done my second ERG mode ride yesterday and exporting into GC, I've noticed that my W'bal expenditure didnt drop for both of the rides. Any ideas? as I thought I was on the brink of fainting.

ERG mode is set wattage right? If so why are there drops to 0w or did you stop pedaling for bits?

how did you calculate your W'bal?... historically from the model data or using the CP and W'bal estimator?

Didnt calculate per se, however I know CP and hence W'Bal cannot go negative for an all out effort of say 5min.

Have a look at attached, W'bal almost depleted for 5min all out. If it went negative, it would have said that estimated CP should be higher, which isnt true as I tested it, hence W'bal higher.

TSS 600.3

IF 0.74

Is your TSS lower on a ride when using HR than using power?

I find that tss is on the high side when I use my powercal on the MTB, however I do correct any spikes etc that causes power spikes.

My TSS is always higher with HR. But my heart revs high and stays there for most of the ride.
