How much longer is the 360 Life contract? Surely both Evans and Reid will be paid to end of contract?

I think it is a great business move by Fedgroup Itec. They are getting a top top rider, possibly only Knox is better, and will be on Scott. I'm not counting Burry as he will be concentrating on XCO.

Yip they are terminating the sponsership but will pay out KE and JR contracts to them. DG's geld goes to anti-doping. Bit of PR disaster management from nedbank there.

If BS is going to be riding with KE, he'll have to train much more and party much less. Always thought that BS had much more potential. Hopefully this will now come to the fore.

Probably the customary two year ban, he will then fade in to the embarrassment hibernation phase.

This is the phase in which people forget about his doping.

He the returns as a big supporter of some anti-drug campaign and has sponsors on their knees and elbows at his door.

It's called the lifecycle of the doper.

Is it not his first transgression? Yes i know there was the Italian incident but that wasn't a positive but more like a health warning. So maybe a slap on the wrist and we'll see him back at the Epic?

How swak will that be...I really hope and believe it won't turn out like this, especially since mr vermaak took him out in a statement, how can he then welcome him back.

just on that, they said they will honor contracts, assume to end 2012, they said they will give DG's to SAIDS, on supercycling the chap mentioned R100k to SAIDS does that mean DG was getting R50k per month? assuming salary for nov and december? caution: lots of assumptions and poor arithmetic here?

Could be...total cost to company that is...doesn't seem that far fetched.

I haven't read any of the thread but my first thought when I read the headline is "Why does KE need a lifeline?". What an extremely sensationalist and misleading headline!! As if FedGroup-Itec are doing him a massive favour.

Bar Burry, he's the best MTB rider in the country and I have no doubt that he would have secured a decent sponsorship without being thrown a "lifeline".
