Is that on the Welvanpas/ wild boar trails? Unless they have reopened the old Black Route at Welvanpas I think the trails are fairly easy to ride blind. Gradients arent that steep and there are few if any man made features like those at JH or Tokai.

OK I was looking for an excuse to go ride some new trails  :whistling:

But thanks. I hope the trails were not tooo flat? I know Welvanpas, theres some epic trails on there for sure.

I got a Assegaai from some dodgy guy selling it out of his van. Pretty sure he'll be using the cash to support his Magic Mushro... I mean Magic Mary addiction.

It's a 2.5, but doesn't appear to be much wider than the 2.4 Ibex I used to run.

At 1200gr it is slightly heavier than the Ibex it replaced (1000th.)

The Ibex has been moved to the back, the Aggressor has been parked in the tyre crate for summer's Kill All Tyre shenanigans.

Haven't ridden it yet, will take it up Helderberg tomorrow. Hopefully I can return with a review of how many Unicorns and Rainbows I saw while shredding the gnar with it, but that is because I am snoep and hate spending money on tyres, so the buyers dissonance is something that actively needs to be discouraged by lies and subterfuge.

WT Assegaai makes a decent shape on 29mm internal rims.

Did this dodgy guy try and get you drunk on Southern Comfort and show you his collection of flannel shirts?

No, I've been reading a few too many Tom Clancy novels lately so a blind drop was arranged. No agents were burned during this exchange.

Hey hey, it's a flannel tank, now. And I only drink Spiced Gold with one mate when I don't bring my own.

But yes, I do.

I cannot confirm nor deny that thing is the truth, or a snippet of it.

So more riders with flats than clips, eh?

No MRP forks for Formula panic levers in there which was a bit of a suprise. All good to see the Lefty from 2018 didn't come back and those sessioning Whistler on fox 34's has dwindled.

Interesting to see that based on those stats (assuming it represents all riders/bikes there) at least 15 people with forks don't have brakes (or have 2 forks)  :whistling:

Feel like I spent far too much time trying to work that out but the one at a minimum of 0.82% and the other at 0.93% (presumably a single bike from the sample) bothered me.

Had Funn Mambas, and same thought pattern, just clip out and flip the pedal when you need to! Cool!....nah, not actually.....when you barrelling down a rough track, the last thing you need is to battle with finding the right side of your pedal after you clipped out...and the clip fell apart on one pedal after trying to master them.....now they just flats cause I removed the clips completely!!!

Back to Shimanos clipless!
