Gnarly Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 woa, we all crossing lines here. I rode the adventure. Was flippen crazy awesome. Took over 200 pics (a little more than last year). At the end of day 2 (on the adventure) we heard that the guys who finished DAY 2 first (not overall), were on rigid single speeds. Gnarly, did Karl and Thor also come in first on day 2? I know when we were registering we perved at a couple of rigid niners (single speeds) on the back of a car so I may well be getting my lines crossed. Nope was Karl and Thor on rigid Kickers, but the are geared. 4hrs 22min. Damn that's FAST.

I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't been on my bike since Sani. I've had piles of work to catch up on and weather hasn't been great either. Well, that's my excuse and I sticking to it. And I don't think too many Western Cape folks will be on their bikes this weekend either.

And I don't think too many Western Cape folks will be on their bikes this weekend either. neither have i...had a collapsed o-ring in my fork during sani, and bike has been at the shop. Got it back yesterday and am going to try muster up a fun ride this saturday

Worse than last year!!! i have been struggling with it for 2 weeks now. It is just not getting better. (seriously) Also doesnt help that I have only done 1 ride since then I guess. That clicking/knocking sound is unbearable Curious- the sound is good, which means you had the skeleton casing on (not waterproof) - were you that confident in your skills? JHB weather has been superb. i hate every minute of work because of it. last year this time i was man-down with flu. you wanna know about psd while being unable to remedy it with a ride...
