I'm calling BS on this. Pine trees have been extinct in the Cape for at least 5 years

Ya its a fake - somewhere in France I think.

Seriaasly though, lower down there are more of those pine things. So many needles on the ground it can get a bit skiddy. Not that this thing notices much... front end grip likes its magnetic.

The Vendetta is finally complete.

Only done one dial-in ride so far. Strange to be on a HT after about 10 years since I've touched one.

So hard right now.

flipping awesome build and bike.

RE dialing the bike in ... at least 50% of your suspension was dialed in from the start, so only the front to worry about now :P

Sweeeeeet bike !

Riding a hardtail takes you back to your roots. We forget how forgiving long travel squishy bikes are and you can plough through rough stuff without having to give too much thought to line choice. If you get it a bit wrong the bike forgives you a bit. ... kinda like being in a relationship long term - not too many surprises.

With a hardtail you have to be sharper - more aware .. engage and anticipate, read the terrain and pull out your best dance moves when it starts bucking ... Like seeing that hot chick in a club for the first time, and the game is on ..  - So much more fun :)
