My Enduro ride

(for the weekend)

Nice.

I have transformed my 110 29r into more of an Enduro ride... 140mm fork. Guide arrived last week for 1x10 conversion. Dropper arriving this week. Pics to follow.

Very nice!

Where in SA can I get1 of those "mudguards"?

That is just an old tube that was cut up and fastened with cable ties. It worked perfectly, but was later replaced with this. I'm not aware of any mudguards in that style available locally. Definitely a must in this weather!

Been checking out similar products on crc & merlincycles, but didn't order anything in a couple months & summer is on the way...

Might try the old tube idea until I can get my hands on 1 of these.

I finaly have something with more than 120mm of travel to post here. Still waiting on bits and pieces but I couldnt resist putting a few pieces together last night! The build will start tonight and hopefully there will be a test ride this weekend if everything gets to me in time

Is that Patches' old frame?

The two of you should hook up. It will be an Enduro match made in heaven. Or, pending your belief, The Hub.

SL-R have been on the stand and at the LBS to receive some much needed TLC and an upgrade or two. Have gone XX1 (SIXC with a Wolf ring), American Classic AM Tubeless wheels and Stealth dropper post. Bit of a color mismatch, but not too worried about that at the moment.

First ride tomorrow AM. So far I approve of the colour, the choice of suspension, and the XX1 drivetrain

Looks good - did you get the bike from Rev Cycles in town - I saw one of these sitting there built up with XX1 a few weeks ago?

Congrats, I am glad you came right .... that PATCHES character is so dodgy you will probably find that if you rub your hands over the paint work it will rub off and it will be a raleigh branded frame or something.

Anyway that is a hideous looking frame, who in their right minds would want to buy and ride something like that
