Readsalot Posted February 9, 2021 Share I see everyone is talking about "framing britney spears" documentary that was released last night. Twitter world is abuzz. Definitely an interesting story... Will give it a watch I won't. This is the kind of stuff that makes me sick from anger. Taking a little girl and controlling her from when she is young, simply because she is beautiful and you can exploit that, is no different from sexual slavery in my eyes. From what I understand the Jessica Simpson story is similarly brutal. I'm not a particularly big fan of either of them, but I hate the type of men who prey on little girls like them. I read the Marilyn Manson autobiography a while ago, and it was the closest I came to having nightmares as an adult. I have no doubt Evan Rachel Wood's stories would be similarly horrifying if I had the courage to read them. Agreed - the only reason why I mention it is that it is apparently told from the victims viewpoint, and if it serves to make the world more aware of the exploitation of child stars, whether it be michael Jackson or Britney spears. I have no interest in her music, but I find understanding human Psyche very interesting. I guess this is the reason I watched the Epstein doccie too. On a side note, according to accounts, Justin Timberlake, does not come across bathed in glory... Gen, Skylark and Readsalot

splat Posted February 15, 2021 Share I started watching Alice in Borderland. Will watch the rest of the episodes when I am back at the Office. It is dubbed so do not have to read a lot.Few moments where I went WFH, but worth the watch That was quite something! Wondering if Netflix will allow the show to level up as it seems that there is a lot more to explore. Edit: Google say that Netflix has Season 2 planned - not sure of release date though Edited February 15, 2021 by splat Tuxstir
Frosty Posted February 15, 2021 Share Started watching House of Cards last week - wasn't really into political-type dramas, but decided to go ahead regardless. Struggled on episode 1, but slowly starting to enjoy it.

Stretch Posted February 17, 2021 Share It's a special day... Both my girls started watching twin peaks and are fully invested. I've clearly watched it too many times because my daughter keeps telling me to stop acting out what's about to happen. 30 years later.. And it's still a masterpiece Lexx, Red Robin and Gen
