just spoke to my dad now

from the start he got himself into the lead from 15th place.

1st hill Benny came past him. on the Downhills and technical stuff Benny was not happy, he took a chicken run and Paul took the bull run getting himself ahead and giving himself a little buffer.

from there he never saw them again, i suspect as Benny was not happy on the rocks, drops and loose sand.

he won with a big enough buffer to have a proper celebration in crossing the line first!!

Doubt whether this is the case, looking at the starting grid, there were no names that I recocnised, could be wrong.

Havent seen the mens results but the women: Nadene Cahill, Ester Erdelyi, Jeannie Dreyer... all should be mixing it next week... but then they wouldn't get podiums...

Were any of those names selected for the elite Worlds?

Probably not. That's what I'm getting at - in this particular category the crème has been taken out and are racing next weekend (both Men and Ladies). Not taking anything anyway from these three's achievements. Masters categories just seem more appropriate from 35 or even 40 up.
