Didn't you do the karoo 2 coast.

I did - but I stupidly left my timing chip at home. Bought a new one but they registered it on the race number. Need to still send the chip details to racetec so that they can register it against my name. Currently my k2c ride is still registered on the person I subbed.

In that scenario, the Argus time of 3:55 comparatively to the Burger performance would possibly harm your Burger Seeding, that and the time gap between your last race and Die Burger.

Just checking because I thought I had a poor seeding.

Last year I did a 3:01 out group J, did a 3:55 Argus and was seeded in G this year, granted my last ride was the Argus.

I did a 2h50 odd last year and got F.

I emailed and asked how that was possible ... was told that time gets me F? ... not that it mattered as I arrived late and had to ride in L .... at least I came 2nd in the group (unofficially as I forgot my chip in the car after taking it off the running shoes)

Also, the groups in Burger are smaller in terms of numbers i reckon,,

a bit off point, but how did you manage to get seeded in E for your first Burger? Very good Argus time? Or any other rides?

I was seeded in A having never done a Burger or Argus before either...

Hey at least youall got to finish. My Burger ended like this.

I came passed you there as the medics got to you, figured I couldn't help as much as they could...so kept on my merry way.

A Cedar Cycling bloke was trying to overtake on the left hand side of the group on that Sonstraal Rd which had a rough road edge leading onto dirt/gravel. He realised he was going to run out of road, came right, took out the guy in front of me and then me. I think I hit one of their chain rings which opened me to the bone. I did get the award from the Doc's for the best race injury of the day.

haha, thanks Luc. Don't worry, I got my revenge on you as I eventually passed you in a vehicle on the R44 heading back towards Stellies. You were alone toughing it out.. I was going to open the window and shout some 'encouragement' but decided you were maybe suffering enough.
