Spez Epic Expert, just got one and could not be happier.

I almost got the Scalpel 2 at one stage, but I prefer the Spez even though it is a tab more expensive.

Hmmmm... honestly, I'd speak to the guys at Torq-Zone cycles to give you a price on a custom built Santa Cruz Tallboy C2 - you can get a pretty decent spec with R60k! (Speak to Dirk)

To be honest there are some sh.t hot bikes coming out,so really look around and chat to your LBS before spending cash like that.

tbh i would go for a more capable bike than that...the world is your oyster.

If u want something special, get a lynskey... For that type of money u gonna get better spec that what may come standard on some brands.

 

I've seen dales for 50k with SLX/XT mix..don't understand how they get away with that.

I think both the spez and the cannondales are great choices. Not a big fan of the Bianchi mtb's. Love their top end road bikes though
