Fairly loose gravel, quite a bit of corrugation, combined with testosterone filled cyclists = recipe for disaster.Did a recce of the route over December, not gonna enter. Rapunzel Posted February 3, 2014 Share first few hundred meters are as smooth as a baby's bottom. I rode the rest on my road bike and it is fine albeit a touch bumpy. Road in decent condition for a gravel road but there are definitely a few sandy, rocky & bumpy patches that can cause problems in a tight group, I predict a number of complaints next monday on thehub.... There were lots of traffic on the road, but that could be because of road works on the stretch of road towards the Vissershok Rd climb (they fixing some potholes!)...
