I just wish to point out that it was the poster who deleted the original post himself, at my "subtle" request.

This was then followed by the removal of the full thread, I don't know if it was the mods themselves, or at the insistence of the OP due to pressure that was being put on him by myself, fellow friends and Hubbers.

 

The point is that HE removed it, as it was nothing more than an unwarranted malicious and slanderous attack due to some bad judgement on his behalf. There was no way that the forethought prior to the backlash from so many Hubbers was even considered and the poster was of the assumption that he could post whatever he wanted to, without consequence to himself.

 

How wrong he was, so thanks again for all the support it really is quite touching to know that we really do have one another’s backs in this community.

I think here on the hub I can assure you no harm or damage was caused, if anyone see you in a bad light, take can take a hike in the same direction as the creator of said thread.

I am in the process of examining options to eliminate any harm that may have been caused to name and reputation so would rather not go into the legal ramifications at the present. Suffice to say that the poster hastily removed the much maligned version of events that he posted after I was kindly made aware of the thread by a fellow Hubber, only three days after the initial post. This therefore left an adequate amount of time for sufficient people to acquaint themselves with the slanderous and most unfortunate character assassination. I am currently investigating how best to take this matter forward and yet again thank all of you for both your interest and support.

Point in case...if one considers that just under 1.4 million individuals viewed this website in 2013 (that's an average of around 3700 hits per day), the said Trailman thread, as an example, would have caught the eye of some web user with no prior knowledge of this forum or its users. Now say this person did not go through the effort of reading through the entire thread, only remembers the heading, and at some point deals with Trialman...they will be suspicious, and Trial is likely to lose their business in the end.

 

Long story short...posts like these do cause damage, however small, and even in a close knit community like The Hub. I hope therefore, that your capital lettered words do not fall on deaf ears, Dips!
