Nah, Did almost 15hr  hrs 2 weeks ago with only one light dusting and all good.... well almost all good. Too much in the beginning and it leaks out everywhere. not a pleasant sight.

At 400km trip I would also pack it on. You and Pansie ride to fast to look k.k with cream all over the legs. :w00t:  :w00t:

Unless its running down the back of your knee, dripping onto and lubing your derailleur you are not using enough.

OK guys and girls, busy packing up in the office, will be leaving to Swellendam shortly.

Safe travel there and back (work in some time for the roadworks / Stop 'n Go's) and have a brilliant ride tomorrow.

Looking forward to all the race reports on Monday.

Good luck to all the guys and gals especially Team WINplas. WOOP!WOOP!

Thanks, Cippo'

Lots of twists and turns with punctures, broken spokes, cramps, some riders entering the race with vulnerable knees, hips and backs from recent niggles and injuries.

Having inexperienced riders in the mix also added complexity and challenge - 5 debutants.

Team finisher's Milner medal accomplished in the finishing time we sought! Mission accomplished.

It's a special achievement and a first for me.

What an adventure!

It's a very special event for the amateur cyclist.

Was my first DC. Social team and all finished  ....My heart was in my throat on the way from montagu to ashton, when the likes of bluff meat supply, hot chillee etc came blitzing past on the right hand side due to alot of riders being on that stretch....

Anyone know what happened with the "taxi" at the ashton stop?

Eish!

How's he/she?

That must be the fastest and most sustained descent I've seen
