Car manufacturers should stay away from bicycles. It nearly always ends up as an over priced, under specced, abortion.

One may think this BMW bike is ok (not I though. I think it's ugly), but I'd be willing to bet its suspension design and spec is far below that of it's priced equivalent.

I can't belive that Calnago or Ferrari were willing to put their names on this.

It is great that Landrover continue with their tradition of vehicles that you

1) need to push

2) will get wet

3) insects between your teeth

4) Swear at

5) excessive cold

6) excessive heat

7) people laugh at

OK, that's my troll-post for the day

motorcar bikes are just like their motorcars. Look carefully and you will see all the design and cultural shortcomings of the big motor manufacturers are replicated in their "perfect" bikes.

Ja, had sight of the Bike RS at that ultimate LBS, Harrods, in January......

Nice enough spec, lightweight, yada, yada.

And 5000 of their Great British Pounds.......... Which is not so lightweight  ...... about 100,000 of our hard earned rondts.

And tbh, even if given one, I could probably not take the ragging I'd get from my riding buddies if I turned up perched atop one of these on a Saturday ride.

At least it may enable me to pick up chicks in a bar a little easier if they know I ride a Porsche. Then afterwards say, "Sorry luv' I said that I ride a Porsche, not DRIVE one...big difference!"
