But are they garishly, eye-bleedingly bright?

Uh - no - 1 camo and 2 black... old age conservatism showing... :)

I used to have a dayglo pink and baby blue F111A sweatsuit (parachute material)..... thanks to a certain team I was a part of... 25 years ago... don't think dayglo really suits me anymore... Stick 8 of those outfits next to each other and you could light up the moon...

Spruit dudes ... when things get warmer and you start taking off your outer layers, please remember you can sling the outer top over your shoulders. Like this.

Seriously Hairy, you need to shape up. A MTB bro shall always manual on a downward sloped wooden surface. That opportunity is lost forever you know...

Probably.. but I only see the back view as they push up the hills before I ride past them... :)

Now I'm 100% sure you have never seen them.

Only time Peach gets passed is if he is on his trials bike doing a trackstand. This weekend Rata proofed he should stick to SS bikes. They at least last when he pedals them uphill. And well Super_mil, if enduro's were timed up and down and you had a race my money would be on him. :-P

I'm very glad to have met most of both these two groups of people (the SS serious training/racing snakes and the river rats) and I have to say I think in person probably all will get along. Weird how everything turned into such a "my dad is bigger than yours" show. Yes the one group enjoys up hills more while the other go hunt for technical downs.

Something it seems many people here have forgot is that we all have the same hobby. We love bicycles and not guns.

It seriously brakes my heart to see that some people on here has to make it their daily goal to try and be nasty or make others seem worth less than what they are. Why not encourage each other? Or try and maybe get out your (not referring to one prison) own 'safe zone' and go see how it is to ride something else and meet the people that doesn't wear the same clothes styles than you.

Rata, not one of those options are really bright enough to suit your personality. I think you should email tld. :D

I wish this judging will stop.

Hey - I even rode with Thug the other day... behind him... :) 50c says he has no idea who I am...

I do know a couple of them to say hi to.... or ring my bell at them... nobody is judging them, we are just teasing them - we were all young once... hell I even used to ride DH with Mathew Kimble a LONG time ago... on a full rigid bike... in a T shirt.... :)

And I do have a machine with a DH shock on it.... somewhere....

I think you're just over reacting, v12 was just having a very tongue in cheek go, and the banter was all in good faith. Thought the chirp was funny. Not everything is an argument.

Matthew Kimble, now theres a blast from the past. RIP

He was absolute blazes in the DH, full lycra style but a complete natural rider.

Still got photos somewhere, also with Greg Miller, the Rumblelows, Dirk etc ....
