Wez-O Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 If only all the other road events were growing like this.Yeah thats the sad truth hey, while the 94.7 is growing, other road event attendances are dwindling....Then again, when a race like the Dome 2 Dome costs R300 to enter and doesn't even have a goodies bag, can we really be surprised?

I have a Dutch business colleague who is a social cyclist and loves both the Argus and 94.7 so that twice a year for the last 4 or 5 years he and his bike fly to SA to attend

habanero Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 In my case used to ride many years ago but I am now to scared to ride on the roads so have gone the mtb route but will be doing the 94.7 due to the fact that the roads are colsed.

CASSIE1975 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 With all due respect - **** the goody bag and close the road please +1000000...if you have 5 or 6 BIGGER races a year (Like Argus and 94.7) with CLOSED roads, they will ALL become sell-out races with 30,000+ cyclist... Argus and 94.7 are GROWING in numbers...because it's SAFER!!!
