C batch has been combined with D. Another Racetec brainfart.

Only positive is we all got a 4 minute "discount" on our times.

I'm sure they will fix it eventually

Ah, that explains the 706 riders in D. The group was big, but I did not think it was that big!

Started in J. Bunch was cruising I was feeling great, then boom 10km in guy in front of me slams on brakes. Still not sure why. Crash at about 45km/h.

Luckily i didn't hurt to bad. Snapped right sti in half wheels buckled and a cracked helmet. Race was over.

Got to thank another lady victim who travelled back to the start who was quite happy to lend me money for beers (I only had friends bank card and no pin).

All in all a disappointment in not being able to finish, but I had a great day in the beer tents and watched the elite ladies finish.

For a fatty of 100kgs, I'm quite happy with my 3:24. Rode to the start after sleeping at my sisters in bryanston. Two punctures on the way in! One was just after the highway bridge on William Nicol, so had loads of traffic stares and not a single offer of help while changing tubes.

Started in E and had a bit of a shocker. No one wanted to share the workload and pace was strange. Sometimes too fast, sometimes too slow. New route was a bastard, I'm not very efficient on climbs dammit!!! Otherwise had an event free ride, stopped racing after joe Slovo and jut enjoyed myself. Pleased with not dying on cedar or steyn. The two week break from any riding prior to event certainly did me no favours

Thanks everyone for being safe and aware. Always and awesome event, and now has to be the hardest race in Jhb.

Excellent. Thanks guys. When I got home I realised I didn't have one and bought one just in case.

If you bought it today then it's valid until race day next year, (1 year), so now you don't have worry about it until then

You don't have enough posts on "the hub" to get an official time. Sorry!

Lol. Guess I need more Street cred then.

Great day. Started at my brother's house in Paulshof for a 13km ride to the start and back, but well worth the ride, we were passing 100's of cars on the way in and out.

Managed a 2h52 out of E with nothing more to give after the mnandi dr climb at the end. Was much harder for me than last year round but still a good ride and very happy that we all kept safe with no crashes or incidents anywhere along the route!

I think you passed me while I sat in the traffic on witkoppen, also live in paulshof but was worried about making it back after the race.
