Tennis elbow

Recommended Posts

Anybody have any advice?

I am suffering like a dog!

I always scoffed at tennis elbow sufferers, but it is seriously no joke.

Scared I might have to go for surgery!

Pretty sure I have the same issue and it is a monumental pain/pest.

Would be very interested to see if any good cures are around.

I have the same problem, Had 6+ injections, it works for a month max.

I learned to live with it.

BTW, ever noticed how many times a week you bump your elbow against something all of a sudden?

fark me, it hurts

The info you get here might not be the most relevant....

If you have cyclist hol or a jock itch the advice will fly!

Question, do you have an actual tennis elbow (lateral epicondilitis) or just a sore elbow?

How did you get injured?

Get this, www.penetrex.com . Rub it on your arm often. Rest your arm (no Gym, Jim, MMA, Wrestling, Crossfit, Boxing etc). It will take a few weeks but this stuff helped me a lot.

I feel your pain. You have three options... Surgery, Cortisone and rest.

I had the injections. The thing that you need to remember though is that after the injection, you feel great but the damage is still there... THAT'S when you need to rest it.

So far so good for me. You need to be careful though. I still get a twinge every now and again if I over do it.

I tried a few lotions and potions as well without much luck. Mate of mine swears by Comfrey leaves.

Good luck!

Lateral epicondilitis, I'm afraid.

Its REALLY uncomfortable to do just about everything with the affected arm.

Its agony just shaking someone's hand!

I know I have to rest it - but I have a month of REALLY hard physical graft ahead of me - I am being retrenched, so I am fixing up my house to sell (and emigrate) - which includes painting, concrete mixing etc.

I am living on painkillers and anti-inflammatories at the moment, just to get by.

So as much as I want to rest, it is not an option right now...

But I am willing to try anything!

Now about these leaves....Do you have to smoke them?.....
