Does that pinch the back of the helmet ... ie would the foam at the back deform over time?

That's actually a good question since there is pressure on the foam when hanging of course. Not sure if this is really a problem in the long run.

EDIT: Correction, the foam at back doesn't deform, it is only the soft sleeve that deforms which is totally fine.

Provide the model and we can only ask him ... he is a really great guy ok and is also on this site .

@ChristiaanSt

OK, let's see. I want to copy this as far as possible:

https://www.proshotcam.com/

And have found a copy, also on the portal Steven Knoetze mentioned:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1734401

Let's see if he could do it and how much it would cost. It may work out too expensive.

Apologies if this has been posted before.

Saw this Deus custom Yamaha Tenere 700. Comments on the post I read were pretty polar. Some loved it as it had some original Dakar nostalgia. Others hated it and thought it was a butchering of an perfectly good bike.

I'm still undecided,. I do think it's kinda cool, but a very specific taste.

I must say though, I did quite like Deus' Husky FE501 mod (which I know I have posted before, haha)

New sportster at local dealer. Roadshow for it. They got 4 demos. Not a bad bike but 15 large for a one seater won’t fly with missus. Also 120 bhp defeats the ethos of Harley here. Not needed. My 12 bhp roadster is more than enough.

I think the S part of the sportster S is key here.

The next iterations to follow may be more up your alley

Did a parking lot ride on a 883 sporty this afternoon while doing a K53 lesson today. Can not say I am a fan of the ergo's of the bike ... they do really look sexy though and sound really good, but the bike is not for me

I hear you. This sportster is aimed at the Indian scout ( think it’s called scout). Harley must be losing sales to that.

but 15 is the yardstick and sportster was always a cheap Harley. 15 ain’t cheap.

Looking forward to more new launches. Harley go big here so a nice day out. Free coffee an biscuits.

Left Hoekwil at 0845 and took the Outeniqua Pass then the Mount Hope dirt road toward Calitzdorp for breakfast. Seweweekspoort to the N1 at Laingsburg……..wow, what a beautiful dirt road. Checked out Maitjiesfontein for a future visit with Missus Spokey. The N1 was crazy busy……..no stopping for pics, just jostling for position in traffic ha ha!

Perhaps I mentioned it before. Anyways, I did not ride the bike much as the mirrors were shite, full view of my shoulders. So I ordered some mirror extenders from Ducati…….Wow, what a difference, nice to see the Polos and GTI’s coming now as they try to dice when I am cruising at a whopping 130 kph!
This bike is insane…..no traction control or ABS, in fact no rider aids whatsoever. I love it. The roll on acceleration is ridiculous especially after fitting the 14 tooth front sprocket…….it scares and excites at the same time. Turns out it is actually reasonably comfortable for a 200 km ride! The brakes are outstanding, the front end feel is remarkable. I explore the capabilities each time out on the machine, of course not wanting to exceed them!   For she me is a 13 year dream fulfilled! I have removed the rear foot pegs and also ordered a seat cowl to replace the “rear seat”.
I look forward to the next outing on this beast!

That is one hot bike!

Seeing in your mirrors ... never knew one could do that, whenever I look in the HD's mirrors all I see is a shaking shiny thing.

I picked up a nice little commuting steed for my incredible 1.2km daily commute
I haven't had a bike for a while, so it's been fun to ride again.  It's not the most powerful bike I've ever had, but it serves its purpose well.  It's been well looked after and has a nice throaty exhaust on it.  Enjoying it so far, and it's also the first bike I've ever had where I can leave all of my kit on and in the bike and walk into a shop like a regular person!  Have never had that before with any of my other bikes.
