Small upgrade

Had to replace a broken brake light bulb this morning, so while I was at it I got new Xenon H11 bulbs to replace the stock candles the bike came with. At first glance it certainly looks to have made a difference, but I will know better tonight when I come back home from a Client meeting just how much of an improvement it is over the old candles.

It beats replacing the headlight with the DayMaker!! Fortunately for me, mine came with the DayMaker and LED spots along a host of aftermarket goodies ????????

I have a full LED headlamp option available through https://www.downtownsa.co.za/ that I am working towards ... this is a stop gap solution for now, it can only be better than stock :P

Just got back to the office after collecting the TTR.

It’s a 2017 model with a number of extras on and with only 3600km on the clock. Will fully list what extras and more detailed pics later during the week.

Thanks

Fully adjustable Showa forks

Fully adjustable Ohlins shocks.

Got my work cut-out setting up the suspension coming from a Rigid SS.  :)

Suspension is a dark art…

My RF600 I recently mucked around with it. Read the manual and slowly worked through it on the front. Sort of made an improvement but I rarely bother the chicken strips these days…

being a lard ass I normally just stiffen the rear and off I go. All these new fangled suspensions are a waste on me.

My second gamma was giving me uphill. Misfiring on the right hand cylinder and sometimes not firing at all. Check the plug and clean/reset and make sure it works and it does. No luck. Strip bike check all electrical elements spray muti and clean/check coil and all works. After a lil frustration I insert new plug…and bobs yr aunty..in hindsight should have done that first but did not have a spare BR9ES so went down rabbit holes. Dud plug is something I have very little experience with,

these old 2smokes are lekker to ride but they are temperamental and prone to funny things.
