Any chance you have a GPX to share?

Sorry, been offline for a long while. I have the KML file below. You should be able to import this into basecamp. Alternatively there is surely an online converter.

I have a bit of a craft brewery route int he back of my head. Basically following this route in reverse.

Breweries to include:

Brauhaus Africa

Mogallywood

Ale House (to have some pizza here as well)

I am in the market for an Adventure bike, looking at the Tiger 1200 Rally Pro and Honda Africa Twin 1100.

Does anyone have an input/ pros or cons on the above or any other options to add into the mix.

Wanting the bike to do a few weekend trips along the roads less travelled like ET, Lesotho etc

Have you considered the BMW F900GS?

Otherwise the Africa Twin takes it for me. Better dealer support than Triumph and it looks better.

No haven't looked at F900GS, will check it out.

The draw for the triumph is the triple motor, like something with a bit of character

I think you only have 4 dealerships in the entire South Africa for Triumph.

Yes, always a draw back. I am in Sandton, so not far from that dealership.

Also had an Aprilia with a total of zero dealerships, so know the challenges of more niche brands

Have read some reports saying the Africa Twin is a bit tame and can be a boring ride. Guess only a test ride will prove if thats true

Dealerships for me are only a issue if buying new.

This could be an interesting option, never seen one in the flesh.

If you're keen, I'm at the Boksburg dealership, can introduce you to the bike guys here.

Sandton Honda is about to move in with Renault Bryanston, I'm not sure if bike will be joining them or going somewhere else.
