I am rewatching Airwolf + Hardcastle & McCormick, and this is certainly very true! And then the other day I saw an article about that truck/helicopter - where the dude is driving an 18 wheeler and he pulls a lever and the tractor ejects a helicopter... haha it cracks me up... think it was called Road Warrior Highwayman or something.

But yes, at the time it was the BUSINESS. however silly Jaws was, I was scared out of my swimming trunks when going to the beach!

Edit: correction

Always manage your expectations when rewatching movies from your youth

Watched Jaws the other day. Surely great for the time, but have a look at the wiki page and see how critics get up into their own ass discussing characters/themes/whatever. It's a movie about a killer shark who has to be killed to protect the reputation of the town and the townsfolk itself! That's it.

I am actually kind of amazed that you somehow managed to avoid seeing this movie for 25 years!

That is nothing. My wife did not see the original Aladdin movie!

Watched about 2/3 of John Wick. Can't be arsed about the rest. I can appreciate the choreography and whatnot, but the plot is paper thin (was there ever any real plot in the JW-verse?) and one can only watch so many CGI head shots before checking out.

Felt the same, although I did watch 3, but when I saw the end with a not-so subtle promise of a 4th... I decided that enough was enough.

Enjoyed the first one thoroughly, but as with all good things, it should end sooner rather than later...

I'm surprised no one has posted this yet

I've tried on a few occasions to get into Breaking Bad, but it just never stuck with me. Will maybe try again.

Glad I'm not the only one... 1st season was ok, really stuggled with the 2nd but it got better near the end. Maybe one day I'll make the effort again for the 3rd season
