Been riding around Harkerville etc for the last 2 weeks and it's been unbeliveably beautiful weather. Just got back from a red run and have a nice bit of sun burn.

 

Can't believe it's all going to the wall tomorrow... ah well. Back to Cape Town on Sunday anyway.

Nee man, this will be a normal Knysna festival. Its always wet and always muddy.

I remember racing down SImola hill (in 2003, before the race went around town) in the rain at 80km/h. I was much braver then.

 

Pack a rain jacket, fit your knobbliest tyres or just be carefull in the mud and remember to have lots of fun. this will be an adventure.

Perfect Singlespeed weather.

Most of the route is no probs,they have made most of Petrus se brand a highway.Its the down part to Harkerville where the roots will be snot,be carefull.

 

Also the return part where you join the 50k it might be turned up a bit ,just look for good lines.

 

And leave the x1 at home
