froomedog is peaking a bit late I reckon. Looks like he will take the place if valverde on the podium but doesn't have a chance of toppling berto. It's been an interesting week of climbs thus far.

no no, surely there's a chance with this coming up on saturday?

big ask, but looks like that's back ended enough to have some real timegaps.

To eject out of
both boxers Rovny and Brambilla is definitely bad decision,I don't ,mind when boys are fighting, as in hockey.SHOW

i think if they would fight during the race, it would make cycling much more watchable. I think it is a good idea, and no need to stop it

Yeah its been a strange performance from Froome, much been said about him riding to his own capability and not that of the others.... Looks like Contador played the perfect poker game and surprised them all.

It does make good viewing watching and hoping that Froome can / will perform a miracle.

Hmm, yeah, in my opinion typical Sky media cover up. I just think, at this race, 'Berto is better.

I also think theres no disgrace in saying so, .......but I would never expect that from Sky.

Hmm, it will be a hard stage for second and third but 'Berto has a stranglehold on top spot now, he would need to have a fall or a "Uran moment" to lose 1.30 odd minutes, of course it could happen, but all been equal I think 'Berto can pretty much look after himself and match any attack thrown at him on the climb.

1st-Berto

2nd-Froomy

Looks like it, but I wouldn't write Valverde off, he wont go down easily and he has a very strong team,.... but yah, judging by Froome's performance yesterday I think Valverde will struggle to match him on the penultimate stage, but then, look back a day and on Saturday Valverde had Froome distanced, so it should be interesting. Maybe Valverde will try a long range attack, his team is strong enough, I think it may be his only hope.

Not much has been said about Uran's spectacular collapse yesterday. I didnt see any article which gave any reasons for him falling off so easily, I initially thought he may have bonked but now I just think Sundays chase of 'Berto, Valverde, Froome and Rodriguez was too severe and he had nothing left.

I really felt sorry for him, I like Uran he is one of the quiet guys and just gets on with it, but to see him under pressure like that, I can only imagine how hard he pushed himself the previous day.

he looked a mess

OPQS twitter feed mentioned he was "sick"

Bronchitis claims made by OPQS for the devastated Uran.

He'll be back to fight another day, uhm, GC.

A real shame that, you really have to feel for the lad.
