Guys, I need help. I'm doing a 700k race on dirt roads and gravel on an old road bike. I DO NOT want to have to stop and fix punctures all the time.

a) where can I get killer tyres 700x28c that will not get a lot of punctures?

b) where can I get tubes with tyre sealant already in, or should I try make some of this stuff and put it into the tubes myself?

Most shops just have the racing style tyres up to 23c which is no good on the sandy stuff. Please enlighten me fellow hubbers.

Yes it will. Picked up about 40-50 of these per wheel the other day. Had no problem

Any bike shop stock these. But I have no advise how to help you with a road bike tire. Get a 29er mtb and use tubeless tires. Will be a more comfortable ride and it will solve the puncture problem Edited by Wil6
