I saw a 'new' magazine at CNA the other day, never seen it before, night have just been called 'mountain bike' - was local, super glossy, think, square spine, wast a monthly, looks really good.....R49.95 I think.

Think I have seen it too. But if not mistaken it is an annual publication

At Uni, with regards to the iPad mini, I'd go out on a limb and say it's the screen size.

I have an iPhone and a 'normal' size iPad and am reading Tread via zinio and it opens double page on the iPad but only single page on the iPhone.

Bicycle, Tread, Ride - all on Zinio/iPad. I go through the same ritual every month...can't wait for the new editions...they arrive...I'm excited...I read...I'm somehow disappointed. Wash, rinse, repeat.

This pole can't be for real! Hubbers already know everything... :whistling:

Indeed. We even know that your post should take pride of place in the "spelling and grammar" thread... :whistling:

They're all pretty shallow and when they do gear reviews they only include, say, a quarter of the brands or models so your conclusion is meaningless. I haven't bought one for months, mainly because I can get my fix on the internet... sign of the times. But I guess Tread is the most honest and genuine

I'm subscribed to Bicycling for the purposed of supporting a local magazine focused on the sport I love. Other than that, I find its content sometimes without substance and all too often repeating (be sure to catch your annual “Ride your best 94.7” article in the October / November edition and your “Kill the ARGUS” in the Feb / March edition). To be fair, I think it’s pretty hard to stay fresh and current when you have to fill 100+ pages with cycling-related subject matter monthly (perhaps that’s where the ads come in… :whistling: ) .

Thread is cool and I love Full Sus.
