So all the heavies, me also. What do you guys weigh? I'll start. 114kg. Want to bring it down to 103kg

We could have been twins. Don't think I am going to make it though. I am not prepared to sacrifice beer and braaivleis.

You guys are doing it wrong. It's the off season/festive season now. You're supposed to add weight. Eat, drink and be merry.

Last race on 12th December for me than 3 weeks no bike in which I need to add 7kgs. :whistling:

Are there Hospitality tents at the Finish of the Argus ?

And if so which Charitys have the tents ?

There are tons of tents at the finish. Mostly corporate ones.

Not sure if there is a charity one though.

From the cycletour website;

"To determine your seeding, we use your best result in Cycle Tour seeding events or the average of your best 3 other results if that is better".

Im not sure if im missing something, (unless they mean other results to be non-seeded events), but how can an average of your best 3 results be better than your best result?

DO

Get used to riding in a big bunch before the time

Train at least on a 80 km loop and ride as hard as you can

If you have a performance goal, relax around it and first set a base line result

DON'T

Lose your bunch or the wind will chow you

Avoid hill training

Take yourself too seriaasly

Don't crash over the side of Chapmans Peak... I've tried it and its totally over rated.

Someone once said... "It's okay to over indulge between Christmas and New Year, but not between New Year and Christmas."
