Frosty Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I've ridden the route (excluding the start/finish road) twice in the last 5 weeks - both times the wind was blowing from different directions, and both rides were equally easy/hard depending on the wind direction. That's the beauty of a figure-of-8 route. FWIW, the total ascent from my race last year shows:Strava - 583mEndomondo - 754mGarmin Connect - 543m

Also, winds from the NW, N and NE are standard in this part of the world. Just another day on the bike in the souf.
