Ashton was superb, he reminds me of a young Andrew Eldritch .

He did his cover of the Simon and Garfunkel classic .

This is the cover and a piccie of him during that performance .

My 9 1/2 turning 10 year old is at the office with me today, just put this on the sound system now and in a matter of seconds he wants to know who it is, seems he likes the track :P

The Kinks - I'm not like everybody else

Not a cover as such, but a re-working of the song by The Kinks. It has a very different feel to the original version - I think its better.

As you will see from the video, this version was used in a closing sequence of a Sopranos episode - very appropriate for old Tony.

*** is the only album by psychedelic group ***, released in 1969 on Epic Records. In 1999 it was released again under Big Beat UK with 11 additional tracks (under the title ***-Ola). Members of *** were: Gary Yoder, guitar and lead vocals; Dehner Patten, lead guitar, bg vocals, and lead vocal on Electric Sailor; Joseph Damrell, bass, bg vocals, sitar & tambourine; Christopher Lockheed, drums, bg vocals, organ; Gary Grelecki co-wrote several tracks with Yoder. The album was recorded at Columbia Studios in Hollywood, CA. The album was bootlegged many times in Eastern Europe and bootleg vinyls are still on the market (recognizable by the faded imprint of the words "PROMOTIONAL COPY" on the album cover and the generally poor sound quality. A high-end lp--with bootleg cover--has also been marketed. Sound quality on this version is somewhat better).
