Baracuda Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 A mussels licence. Going to eat mussels on the coast with my best friend. Given up booze and smokes. This better be worth it. It will be, but one does need a glass of chardonnay in the one hand while hunting mussels, it makes them taste better. Seriously though, got a ZAR60 license this year and it is annoying I didn't get into earlier. If after riding, sailing, kiting,.. it is close to low tide, it is really easy to jump in and get a quick 50. You can get reasonable mussels without too much of a hack, but if you willing to get wet and roam 10-20 meters further in than the pensioner-foraging-zone, you easily get ones twice the size and cleaner.
