Almost got caught out coming down into Woodstock with those cross winds.

Riding home afterwards through Woodstock and Salt River, the wind was quite rough in places. I think the later groups will find the "Argus Light" a little fuller bodied than they expected. :)

Surprised to see Nuno Schurter mixing it up in bunch sprint finish. Boy has more tricks up his sleeve than a magician.

Forgot to mention, had a good ride out of 4a. Chaos getting into starting area meant I missed my group, but still a good 2 hrs in the saddle.

Dropped back from 2B to ride with my Sister-in-law doing her first one in 6G.

Had a lovely ride in just over 2 hours, safe and sound which is all that counted.

Ja.  Toughest part was fighting the wind going up Nelson Mandela Boulevard.  That was at around 9h00.  The rest was easy peasy, even Whineberg Hill.

My right knee was giving me some troubles.  Just as well it was a shorty today.

Gees, went ass over kettle, landed straight on my elbow and wrenched my ankle. And that was running to my starting shoot when I tripped over some black metal thing on the ground in the dark. But otherwise, a lovely day out. Hope everyone stayed safe.

I saw you fall. Couldn't figure out what you were doing.

Running over kerbs with my bike in my one hand, not paying or enough attention to the ground. Flew like an ostrich. Thankfully a nice lady pointed out my glasses were about to go :)

Those no stopping signs left on M3 were retarded. How can you D a route recce and not remove those? Saw three guys plough into them.

Other than that a good hour and nine minutes of riding.

so, that was my first Argus! It was way too short!

I found out I'm not that bad at climbing. Startgroup 7C,passed a lot of people going uphill. Hospital bend was though with the wind, Edinburgh drive felt easier.

Coming back was easy with he backwind.

Hope to be back another year for a full ride!

When will the results be on racetec website? I did around 2hours, pleased with that!
