i wonder how many calories....

Is there an Everesting challenge for calories consumed ?

You have to have the same calorie intake as somone your weight summiting.

If so, by the time I finish this bottle of wine and the baguette and wedge of Brie I picked up at Giovanni's in Greenpoint today, I will have aced it.

I find these feats amazing - well done to him!

Can you quickly help, his cateye shows only 183km although the time seems correct at 17h?

And Suikerbossie is 2.3km so I assume he didn't go all the way to the top? 2.3km x 2 x 71km = 326km.

Anyone have the stats for the Gabema Doordrift climb in Paarl (Taalmonument tar road from bottom to gate?

Although, the road does have one dip in it, so would that disqualify it from an Everest attempt?

P.s. I'm not thinking of doing it (duh!).  Just curious.

No, it wouldn't disqualify it. And the small ascent on the way down on the other side of the dip would also count towards your metres climbed.
