Henley 1 Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Within weeks after a new water bottle gets used it becomes slimy and smooth on the inside – even with just water and no juices! I found that shaking it with coarse sand and water helps, also diluted JIK solution. But this is a schlepp! What is your secret chemical remover of slime on the inside of your water bottle?
SimpleDom Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Invest in a bottle brush. Then good old sunlight and hot water works just fine for me. No juice in my bottles though.....

jarek.pski Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 USN bottles I use a brush for the inside.Cap, I remove the rubber nipple completely and use a thin camelback brush in there.I get powder sediment, and protein in there too.My bottles have a tough life
Odinson Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Slime?! That's quite disgusting. Mine goes into the dishwasher. Alternatively, hot water and dishwashing liquid. A good rinse with Milton once a week should keep the bacteria and so at bay.
