Lotus Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Was wondering, do you run with orthotics or the standard insoles?Have you ever tried a heel raiser? While it might not be the cause of your injury, some of the modern shoes have lowered their heel drop gradually over the years and this can put pressure on your Achilles if they are to tight / short. Can you squat barefoot right down onto your haunches without lifting your heels off the ground? If not, it’s an indication that your Achilles are not very flexible or to short.Discovered that problem when I bought my second pair of running shoes (Maxed) - almost immediate Achilles/calf pain. Made sure the next pair (Asics) had less heel drop and problem ended at once.
Jackes Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 They probably think corona is just a rumour too Perhaps like the route this will also be changed the Friday night...
