Drove past at lunch and it was a smallish fire in some reeds right next to the road.wasn't so small this afternoon, from what I saw. could have been wrong, though. It did look rather large from Paarl
NicoBoshoff Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 I suspect all those new Banhoek trails are a thing of the past. "Thankfully" this appears to be a fynbos fire, so after a good season of rain it should be fine again. Now I'm more concerned for the vineyards.

That Botmanskop area is very easy to access from multiple points - great for us, but also good for the criminal scum...
