Andymann Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Well managed to sort out the exhaust, so went on a nice little 150km run-in ride on Sunday. Biggest gripe? I should have spent the extra R2000 and put on more road-orientated tyres! Anyway, I guess now it's time to start the next project.... It's also a 2-stroke, so I'll post a few pics as I progress.....

Couldn't stop smiling for at least two weeks after that ride. Jeans, army boots, road tyres.... and some rain for good measure

It's pretty impractical on the road and I'm sure as hell not going off-road on it, so it isn't really usable. And it never drew too much attention either - I think it looks too modern, even though believe it or not, it left the factory in Dec 1989 so its 26 years old this month....

Jeans, army boots, road tyres.... and some rain for good measure Now that I have done this one, I'm going to keep my eyes open for a KDX200 - not the modern one - there were a few that snuck into SA which were road legal - I'm going to see if I can grab one of them....
