That definately fits under a bad in my book... Not a fan of fishing. Love swimming and Crawlies of the sea, Diving, Snorkeling all Great! Fishing ranks at the bottom of my list. Hows the whole spear fishing thing there maybe one could try that rather?

Anything to do with the sea and you're good here. Lots of sailing, windsurfing, kiting, surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, etc. Also out my way triathlon seems much bigger than road cycling.

And to give an idea of how much fishing is part of the culture, you can buy Barbie-themed fishing rods from the supermarket. Princesses have to catch their food here.

5.7 earthquake yesterday in Christchurch.

Today was supposed to be my first day at work there. Visa delay might have been a blessing in disguise

It seems Mitsubishi is having a special on their 2WD double cabs.

Seems like a good deal...

I spoke to the landlord of a place I'd like to rent (12km from the epicenter of the quake), and they said they were quite unaffetced. just a few things fell off some shelves.

but yeah, not ideal!
