One would think that after only reaching target once in three months due to injury your target point would drop. Has anyone had their target lowered and if so how did you get that right?

Yes mine sat at 900 and then slowly started to drop by 50 points a week to 650. Now that I have started training again I guess it will start moving back.

After how long did it start to drop?

Anybody else had issues with discovery paying out the healthy foods benefit? I recently discovered that they had not paid it out for an extended period of time, after many phone calls to the call center I got a very proud phone call today telling me they had fixed it and would pay me back the maximum for one month. When I asked the person how far back this was, they went very quiet and said they would investigate further.. A valuable lesson learnt, check up on them every month that they are paying back what they should.

Has been part of my monthly check, since mid-year last year.

Guys, I need help... Did not have a bike since January and I just got it now. First ride is tomorrow and by the look of things is that I will lose my Diamond status. I am currently sitting on 9400 points. The only thing I have done is the we stuff and age. No health and fitness checks. I got the max on the steps. I don't have a fitness watch, so I missed out every time I went for a run. Is there a way of getting those points needed to remain on Diamond, or I must forget? :(

Play the Vitality system, read the downloadable guide on "getting to gold", go for the health checks and vitality assessments.

Buy a cheap fitness watch, wear the HRM every time you do a workout and get the 300 points rather than just 100 or nothing

Agree with Shaper, you need to work it.

From cheapest to more expensive:

Non-Smokers declaration

HIV test - Pays out from your Health Plan screening benefit

Health check - pays out of your Health Plan screening benefit

Fitness assessment - Can claim back from your savings plan

Cheap Heart Rate device on the approved list, typically any garmin or polar, check their list - Bikehub classifieds will have the most basic ones for under R1000 if you shop around.

I will do the health check and HIV test this weekend. I used to score a lot on them.

I have one for cycling. it's just running that I was never fond of until I fell on the Fast One and discovered I was under insured. So I collected every cent I could find into building a new bike which is almost complete.
