Im wondering the same thing, linked my strava and it doesnt show up.

Take a look a few pages back, Myles dealt with the issue. Apparently if you de-link and then re-link it jigs your points back into action.

I have not used strava yet, just linked it today so cant tell if points pull through or not.

i have an icon for trainingpeaks but none for nike+ or strava(which I have used before)

Will take a look back though and see if I can see what Myles said about it.

Thanks for the pointer.

My Strava also doesn't want to link. Deleted both Strava and Vitality apps and then tried to link again but no success. I've e-mailed them last week Wednesday, but no reply yet.

Found out the if you only use the STRAVA app to record your rides, vitality does not count it. Has to be from a device.

that doesn't compute... STRAVA when run from a phone is considered a "device upload"

Only thing it wouldn't have is HR data...

Very strange.

Not correct - the wife is on strava only and, although the connection is dodgy and I have had to de-link and re-link a few times, she is getting points.  For next year she really needs heart rate data to benefit fromt he changes - so I am currently considering either getting her a blue tooth HR monitor to use with the strava app (cheaper option) - or (more likely) proper device for xmas...

Thanks man, since I've switched to the Garmin I haven't been using Strava to record activities. It just pulls direct from GC. But before that, I was also getting points from Strava recorded activities.

Good to see it's still running.

I'm guessing you're putting in manual ride entries and nothing logged by a device. In which case it's understandable that Disco would not give points for that, as anyone can simply create any amount of fictional training data that cannot be vetted back against actual data.

Think so, I only use Strava APP on phone and get all the points. Not for Manual.

lots of women do not like wearing the chest strap (uncomfy with bra and strap), as an alternative you might consider a wrist strap like a mio http://bbt.mioglobal.co.za/product/mio-link/

Not cheap, but gets around the issue if it is an issue and is bluetooth compatible

For all those who has strava and uses ANT+ HRM, please read this thread

I've used my android cellphone (which can receives ANT+ data-signals) to records all my rides with heart-rate data on it. No need to burn money on another devices just to sync it to strava.
