On the main screen, with the Portfolio and Shortcuts tabs, click on the "Health" block. On the next screen, scroll down and look for Devices and apps, under the Get active heading

Hey guys,

Anybody got any insight on the bank from their own short experience? Discovery phoning me like everyday to join lol.

Thanks guys.

While they’re trying to get you to join, I’m still waiting... got an invite notification but that’s all. The wife applied the same day as me, and heard nothing.

Then again, it’s been 5 weeks since she claimed her 5[emoji184] prize and they still haven’t resolved her claim.

It is tiered based on your financial health similar to vitality that Disco calculate when you join. They do some kind of automatic assessment (I assume looking at your credit score) and then they have a load of different assessments once you join (retirment savings, homaloan, short term insurance...) that all count to that.

I found it failrly easy to get to their top category and my interest rates ate 7.5% on the savings account and 6.5% on the transaction account. I cant tell you what the rates are if your are not in the diamond category.

I am just shy of Gold and still stuck on Silver - 5.3% for Positive Balance, 6.3% for Savings.

I'm on 10% with tyme and no bank charges and no funky hoops

Never heard of them, i'll have to google it - I have a huge amount, like 6 figure amount, sitting in STD bank, maybe its time to find a new place to park it

That is a great interest rate; but you have to give 10 days notice after leaving it in for 90 day right?

eish, why? Is it a pure parking spot for future potential purchases?

EDIT: I know the markets are trash at the moment, though. So an MM return of 10% is absolutely fantastic.

Yeah it takes 90 days to build up to 9%, and then anytime after that if you withdraw after giving 10 days notice all your interest is boosted. Limit of R100K deposits though.

For now its simply a parking spot, with no immediate purchases planned, I may need some in 12 odd months to partially finance a house when i get off my ass and sell my house to move to W/Cape

The only problem i have with these digital banks which i never heard of - How secure are they ? ?

The VBS bank comes to mind

Is the 100K limit a Max or Min limit ?
