How many appendixes can you possibly have ..?

I thought we were all issued with one only..?

According to KE:

"repeated episodes of intra-abdominal sepsis due to an appendectomy performed at the end of 2010(1).

“In October 2012 he had to undergo another operation to drain and remove an abscess in his abdomen, followed by a second appendectomy and further abdominal surgery again in December" (2)

To my understanding, his appendix perforated and spewed gunk into his abdomen. The appendix was removed, but they didn't remove all of the gunk, which made him ill later and had to be drained.

I can't understand why we even try and compare ourselves or our local talent to these guys.....they are at a different league completely......physically and genetically more gifted...mentally far superior and have a far lower prima-donna attitude than the guys we have who become idols on our little shore....

so he's clean cos he's your hero?

the whole Appedix isn't alwways removed. Its generally just opened and drained. If it perforates then you have a major life threatening problem. This is when its removed completely.

Sounds like the first appendectomy they just drain the the thing. It then reinfected and ruptured and was then removed completely.

a polygraph is probably the most unreliable test out there. It is really just a mechanism to shake the tree with the uneducated masses where a crime is suspected. It amazes me that it is still in use.

Yes I know that but still, if I was a doping cyclist I sure wouldn't be all that gung ho about sailing through a polygraph test if I had been a rabbid doper.

Seems like doping is NEVER gonna go away .

There was the link here mid last year about the journalist who micro dosed with EPO .

Told USADA he was doing it , got tested whilst doping .... ALL test came back NEGATIVE ....

He said the performance improvement was immense ...

Risk vs Reward !!!!

I think they should just make a doping category and a non doping one

Agreed.

Even Formula 1 is pretty boring to watch compared to when there were minimal rules..

Assumptions....you couldn't be further off the mark....

well you post sounds a lot like hero worship. Europeans being so much more gifted etc etc etc. . they're homo sapien. Live and breathe oxygen, drink h2o and often with a smatterings of C2H6O.

I'm sure they just train harder from a younger age.

oh that's easy, test the winner.

Here's how you make the doping cat more interesting.. bonus points for the best lie. You could even skip the actual race..
