Check what I built, first attempt at decking and stairs, far from perfect but I am pretty pleased with it. From a guy who not so long ago had difficulty drilling a hole in the wall.

That's looks really nice, as the saying goes...it it looks straight it is straight!

Best option most of the time for doing walls is to remove the old plaster and then to redo it properly. I can imagine your vocabulary increased after tiling uneven walls,

Ja swaar. And things don't look good for next dry season. Already lost around 10 shrubs and half the lawn in my garden. I want to redo my front garden, but there is no point if I can't give it the watery love it needs to survive the summer.

In other news: I think I am going to save some money up to buy a Sawstop Cabinet Saw. I know it is a lot of money, but I have 2 boys that also want to start using the table saw, and I fear that they don't have the needed respect yet for that machine. As most young boys, they are quite gung ho.

Sawstop make awesome cabinet saws but the price here is a bit eye watering. Those things scare the heck out of me so I treat them with tons of respect!!

The videos I have seen on sawstop are quite amazing though, just be very careful that you dont cut aluminium or anything conductive otherwise its going to be a costly mistake!!

OK, but that is for the portable one on a trolley (although that site confuses you with the default pic it shows, making you think you are buying the cabinet saw).

I want the cabinet one. The cabinet one has a much bigger top, better fence and stronger motor.  For more than double the price though.

This is what you are are actually buying:

I want this one:
