People are saying that a bike with a motor in is way worse than medical doping. I dunno, I think researching, sourcing and then injecting stuff is pretty hectic. They're going to try stamp this out with harsh sentences, but i think you're just going to have to accept that just like any other type of cheating, there will be an arms race between the authorities and then sportsmen and women.

the best placed people to deal with his and nip it in the bud are the riders.

The past weekend saw the annual Champagne & Oysters Cycling Club (C.O.C.C) ride from Saint Tropez to Monaco, raising funds for the Foundation Princess Charlene de Monaco.

In the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Typhoon Bicycles Harry Gibbings & Russell Carty joined over 150 fellow C.O.C.C riders including ex F1 star Mika Hakkinen who was spotted on his Typhoon on the 140km ride back to Monaco to help raise funds and awareness for Princess Charlene’s foundation.

that tjerrie from Benoni has gone far ek se!

Those people seem to speak out of their rear ends. Cheating is Cheating, one however is potentially fatal...

Perhaps I will give a bigger **** about all this cheating, when I am cheated out of prize money, while being the poor sod running on sugar water and auntie miem's oat crunchies.

Gentile *************,
We are a small Italian company that make motor for bicycles.
For six years past we make many successful custom motor that win many race for professional riders, now we can make 'off of shelf' motors that are more economical.
Our main concern is rider safety. Here, in Italy as in Belgium, too many competitor have become sick from the program of preparation they believe they must follow. We aspire to provide the alternative to keep the body more healthy. If you have riders in your team you have concern for to make the wrong choice and take medication for the race preparation, please pass our company information on. We prefer that they know about motor assistance more than drug assistance.
We will not co-divide these details with any other person or group, our service is discrete.
Thank you for your time to read, we will not contact your team again. Again, we sell enough motor here in Italy, we prefer only to hear from international people we can stop from making the bad choose.
Ciao
Roberto Bassi

That is terrible. They should be shut down for advocating illegal behaviour. Much like other e-bikes I think there's a place for them, but this is just too much. Stupidity.

You just have to wonder how if this has been used in Pro racing?

One hit wonders that never really performed after one big win.

I can't believe that the website is for real - its basically encouraging racing fraud and refers to doping as if its the norm.

Then again, maybe it is.....

At first I thought it was a spoof website, but the more I look at it the more I think it is legit.. with pricing, tube sizes and videos

Can't they just weigh everyones bikes? Surely a 250w motor and Li-Ion battery makes those flimsy carbon bikes about 1-2kg's heavier?

Today's bikes can easily shed more weight. The minimum weight limit is 6.8kg. The world's lightest bike is 2.7kg.
