My mtb wheel broke! It must be poor quality - I have heard of other problems with those DT Swiss wheels. (t was not even a serious crash - I drove over it with my double cab by accident ;)

Been riding with carbon bars (Easton, Enve, Renthal etc etc) for many moons and never had an issue. And I also have had my share of bad tumbles. I think It's just bad luck (bad batch, over tightening etc etc) Sh*t happens dude.

Greg Minaar and the like, noobs running carbon bars rims and and and....

TSCH what do they know

He has a signature enve bar, last I checked they dont make alu bars...

A rim failing is not nearly as bar as a bar failing.

it was general response to say that carbon bits have no place on MTB, yes none of us come close to the riding skill of the best in the world(GM), but its a rubbish statement...

i'm also in the market for Carbon MTB bars, so if anyone wants to swop i'll give my Alu bars, and i wont charge anything extra

To add to that if it was weight related I should have broken a lot more stuff in my lifetime  :whistling:

I'll raise you a broken Ritchey saddle. But not-so-small fall at Berg&Bush. Not the seat or carbon's fault! Just ran out of talent...

Pfffff duct tape and insulation tape will fix it...

Oh wait - it DID

does carbon just snap off clean like that? the ones Ive seen breaking kinda shears/splinters off. But there are lots of different types of carbon so could be wrong.
