If you are having issues with active days or previously used Map my Fitness (which is no longer accepted..because well people cheated) link your phone's health program (iPhone or Samsung) with FitVault.. if you use for Huawei users download S-Health and FitVault.

If your gym isn't affiliated to FitVault get them to sort it out ..is doesn't cost them a lot to do it

IMO the broker should make and effort to get to his clients and it is in the broker's best interest to get to all of his client's once a year..not only assisting with Multiply but an annual review may also generate new business for the broker as well as retraining business...so I was quite shocked to read that your broker didn't do your review.

We monitor our client's Multiply statuses very closely and download a book report every month to see where we can help..

I've already been making appointments at dischem for some of our clients and we are in day 3 of the new year and I am still on leave[emoji23]

Sounds like we need a new broker

Perhaps first chat to your broker about it if you are still unhappy about his service then perhaps look at making a change.

I’ve been unhappy for a while..will be chatting to Mrs tonite as momentum is in her name.

I understand your frustration.

I can try help you as what I can with Multiply.. but those financial review points are really important.

The best advice I can give you is as much as what you can early in the year.

Questionnaires, assessments (tiger wheel and tyre..both vehicles ).. get them done.. do the fitness assessment as well valid for 1 year now and not just 6months so that you can unlock more active dayz...

Both of you should do Safe dayz as well..together with safety questionnaire and tiger wheel check you unlock more safe days

Do you have a will.. is it updated.. the costs for a Momentum Will in safe keeping isn't a lot every year..consider it.. it counts as an extra product.

Do you perhaps have an item you would like to insure with their short term insurance for a better rate (if possible)....you dont need to move your entire policy to Momentum..would also be another product? Pls just dont double insure and make sure that you have better or at least the same coverage as before..don't screw yourself over for 70 points either. [emoji85]

Do you perhaps have a savings plan for your kids and retirement annuity etc...do you have a need for any of those products... these are all things you can consider..

And then you should review your life policies with Momentum..do you have longevity as benefit and interactive..is your interactive review up to date..do you know what the benefits are, has your situation changed at all that you need to increase benefits etc.. this is why it is important to see a broker at least once every year.

Gen we do both do the safe dayz. I do also get the cars checked. Will do it next week. We’ve both done our questionnaires already.

you can expect a pm for contact details once I’ve spoken to her

You, like me, seem to be one of the few that do all the momentum stuff that gets you the points. How long have you had your policies? Is your medical aid with Momentum?

I am so over momentum, I gave up on trying to reach private club last year its just an absolute mission every year and will just be cancelling all policies remaining with them and moving them across to discovery. Discovery I usually have 90% of my points by mid year and thats only because I wait till the end of year to get the health checks etc done to see if I really need them for the points. I use discovery for most things anyway but thought it would be good to "diversify". Used to be nice with all the vouchers etc but now all the ones I used to make use of have disappeared.

@Gen, Our Will's are with capital legacy. Our broker suggested we use them(instead of Momentum) due to the size of the estate. He organised it all for us, we met with the Capital Legacy guy with my Broker at my Brokers office. Do you know if we get points for having a WILL with Capital Legacy? It is not something I thought about when we did it. I also don't struggle to get the 1500 points per year but if I did and I didn't get points, I would not be happy with my Broker.

Yip I’ve been jumping thru hoops for a while. We used to be private club. Mrs struggles with active days. She has had policies with momentum for years. Yes our medical aid is with momentum. I have policies with other institutions which is probably dumb.

Gen we’ve not been asked those questions. Or maybe only when we first met the broker but certainly no real time spent on it..

I think my Mrs will is supposed to be with momentum but i know she has been trying to get it sorted for over a year so who knows

That is the thing with Momentum, They want you to have everything with them and that's where you score with the points. I get 4 x 120 points for cover with them and if the will is accepted then another 70 as it is only a year old next month.

I had my 1500 points last year around July I think. After that I never bothered with anything and think I ended on 1530!!! and there was a lot I could have still done for points.

In a bid to safe my Private Club Status before the end of December 2019, I ended off the year on 890 only needed 750 as a single member. I log in today to see that nothing has carried over, I'm currently sitting on 4.

Unfortunately not.

Every year you start from scratch again.. been like that for a long time now.. your automatic points for products will be allocated soon enough.
