I think BMC is regretting riding on the front all day, I dont think they will do that again, apart from putting a lot of unnecessary stress on Richie to perform it just gives Sky a free ride.

I liked the attack by Aru, "fortune favours the bold" and he took the gap and went, none of the others wanted to attack and so good for him, anyway, to be honest, if it wasn't for Aru's attack it would have been pretty much a non entity stage.

When the commentators said 'He'll burn himself out just for the sake of getting A chance at yellow'

That could be seen as very ballsy/stupid

I thought its pretty cool

Yah, me too, I am assuming you are talking about Aru, I maybe dont have the same commentators, but Yes, I think he is turning out to be a kind of mini "Berto, always prepared to go on the attack.

Whats not to like about that.

Wow, so I just watched the final 5km of today's stage.

Aru must have had something special in his juice bottle. Talk about putting down the hammer!

So with where Froom is sitting in the Sky train... are they trying to fake a bad form - also the lack of results was due maybe to not pushing as hard for results thus saving more for the tour?

Is the road behaviour of Sky trying to cast doubt into the minds of their competitors as to their tactics or who they are really riding for?

Interesting tactics...

There is an opinion that Froome's training regimen has been different this time round as he's preparing to race both the Tour and the Vuelta, so trying to peak later to hopefully win both. Not sure how true this is.

I'll let you know at the end of September . . . .

Does make sense as it did seem as though he was running on fumes last year trying to do the double after also winning the Dauphine.

Now the question is whether Quintana was doing the same and that's why he lost the Giro? Or did he just lose it because he lost it or did he lose confidence.

I agree, but thats humans, we need the next scandal to forget the previous one.

It will blow over soon, just like all things do sooner or later.

Fighting it just perpetuates that Streisand effect.

Sounds so like the wimmin folk in my family [emoji57]

NQ nowhere to be seen today... think he will be lucky to make the podium!

Me thinks his goose is cooked.  Unless he gains some form in the next week he could just as well pack up and go home.

I think him and Contador will only get stronger, remember last year, Nairo was also gapped in the first week. Give him time.
