mikkelz Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 You can't judge from the front view...The video shot from the air shows it clearly and when you watch it like that it looks very bad for Sagan..I am pretty sure that was what the judges used.I would hope the judges have used all angles and evidence to make their decision. The aerial view has gaps with the trees overhead. Neither are perfect.

Christie Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Agree with comments that the elbow did not cause the crash.Top view looks like Cav was on the wheel and Sagan pushed into the small gap caused by Demare's acceleration. Cav did not give up the wheel by braking, ended up against the barrier....but the elbow does not look not defensive, plus elbowing Greipel earlier did not help his case - that and not being French, probably.

Bianchisti Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Point is in a sprint you keep your line...no drifting or closing gaps or bull**** like that you KEEP your LINE!If Sagan was drifting same could be said for all of them. That would have been the line I would've been taking if I was looking to come around the rider in front. As Cav was also doing. Road was just not wide enough.
