Slowbee Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 PVM products, like their philosophy. It is also one of the few products where on the packing it explains that taking in carbs may increase your weight due to water retention, which could contribute to stiffness and soreness. And I know it works for me. In my mind anyway. So currently see no need to change.
Pulse Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Anything and everything - as longs as its not a USN product
Frosty Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Mostly Rand Water, but occasionally JHB Water. Real food like an apple, banana and fresh coffee does the trick for me. However, this past weekend's ride to Durban (Thu-Sun) I must have consumed at least 6 steri stumpies, about 10 cokes, countless fruit cake and banana bread. And a few Guinness and one Castle Lite for recovery.  Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ians H2Sport Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Raceday for me and my kids. A fantastic product developed locally. No artificial flavorings or colourants. Easy to consume, even after many hours on the bike. Well priced too. http://www.racedayfuel.co.za/
Jase619 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Anybody know where I can get my hands on SIS supplements?
Showtime Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I mix my own at the pharmacy. Just be sure to wipe the counter before you begin.
Cyclewizz Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 In races I normally use 32GiFor training rides I use water, Energade and good old Game, Jungle Bars (or similar)Â In my experience fitness plays a much bigger role than any supplementNo supplement has made me perform like an Elite no matter how much they promise to.

Underachiever Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 For road races: Hammer Perpetuem and bananas. MTB, Starts with Hammer and then fill up with good old Coke & water mix at WP's. Eat whatever there is. Post race - like Gerald: Choc Milk, banana bread, wine, beer, real food

Cadre Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Cadence. (I swear by that stuff). It is almost as good as the Coconut coated Date and Cherry cakes my 11 year old twins slap together from in the 7de laan cookbook.
