The sheriff's work sticks out like a sore thumb  broken foot - love it.

 

I really dislike Tapatalk - can't see the changes made. Had to go to the browser to see the changes

The back enders - Neville Higgs, Mike Glover and others behind them as of 14H00 Friday have 70 hours to cover around 630km.

Will they make it?

 

They're on track, assume 16 hours of rest leaving 54 hours of riding they need to average just under 12kph. Did the calc for CV earlier who behind them and she's also on track. Last year the riders where about 30% faster than their averages over the last 100km not withstanding that mother of a climb.

the leading pair have almost caught up to John Ntuli's ghost.

 

Don't think they will rest much at RV4, safer to go down that mountain in daylight.

Is it "only" 100km to go?

Having a final rest before the last onslaught.

Closer to 300km....thought it was approx 1100km.
