Pics aren't pretty. Driver had no licence, vehicle wasn't road worthy and tried to flee the scene on foot before being caught by people who stopped to help.

The robot just before this is also super dangerous for cyclists. The taxis use the emergency lane there to bypass the backed up traffic at speed. She'd been coming from the Dome direction and wanted to turn right. He was coming from Clearwater heading straight through. We took his bike home while he went to hospital and his dad picked it up later.
